One: Morbi is really two cities in one — a historic princely town on the Machchhu, and a vast industrial belt of ceramic plants that has grown up around it — and each needs a different pickup plan. The industrial belt has wide roads but heavy traffic, and factory gates are busy in shifts. Two: Morbi is a city of migration and export, and both shape when and how a pet can travel. Because the ceramic industry here is one of the largest in the world, Morbi draws workers from across the country — from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, Rajasthan and other states — and that means a steady flow of families relocating in and out of the city, often with pets.
