Two things that shape every Korba pet move

One: Korba is a company town, and its layout reflects that in ways that matter for pickups. Korba's growth was driven by coal and power — the South Eastern Coalfields' Korba coalfield is one of India's largest, and the NTPC and Hasdeo thermal power stations plus the BALCO aluminium smelter made the district the "power capital of India." The result is a town built around industrial townships rather than a single historic core. Balco Nagar, NTPC Colony, Sada Colony, Kusmunda, and the SECL residential belts are each self-contained, with their own roads, gates, and internal security. Picking up a pet from inside one of these townships is different from picking up from the general city area — we usually need advance gate permission, a specific entry point, and sometimes a scheduled slot outside shift-change hours. Pickups from the civil areas like Transport Nagar, Kosabadi, Jai Nagar, or Ghantaghar, by contrast, follow ordinary city rules.
