Two things that shape every Baddi pet move

One: Baddi is the pharmaceutical capital of Asia, and the BBN industrial belt redefines how pickups work here. The Baddi–Barotiwala–Nalagarh belt — known simply as BBN — is one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturing clusters in Asia, with hundreds of drug and formulation units operating across the three townships. It accounts for a substantial share of India's bulk drug and formulation production, and some of the country's largest pharma companies run major plants here. Beyond pharma, the belt also hosts textile units, packaging plants, fastener manufacturers, and food-processing facilities, and the wider industrial zone includes pockets of Nalagarh and Barotiwala. The practical effect for pet moves is that the roads connecting Baddi to Barotiwala, Nalagarh, and the various industrial pockets carry continuous commercial traffic on weekdays — tankers, container trucks, and the labour force commuting in and out of shifts. The Baddi–Nalagarh road and the NH-105 stretch through the belt are the busiest, and we plan every pickup around the shift-change windows rather than against them. That means the town's residential pattern is built around rented accommodation near the industrial estates — colonies and rented housing clusters at Bhud, Katha, Sai Road, Kalujhanda, and the various industrial pocket areas — rather than long-established family neighbourhoods. For pet moves, this has a specific effect on the relocations we handle here: a large share of Baddi pet moves are not local shifts but long-haul returns to a home state, often 1,000 km or more, when a worker's contract ends or a family relocates. Those moves usually run over two days with an overnight halt at a pet-safe facility, and the same handler stays with the pet throughout.
